| Bio: | All about me: * I am a mom, a wife, a daughter and a teacher. I like being a mom the best. * I have been teaching since 1975. I don't know what I would do if September came along and I didn't go to school. I have taught in Catholic Schools (grades K, 7 & 8, 3, and 6). I am currently teaching in the Public Schools and have been since 1986 (grades PK, 3, 5, 2). I was a program coordinator (glorified, underpaid, quasi-administrator) but the district cut my funding so it was back to the classroom for me. I went to PK which I loved and spent two years there. Then I ticked off my principal so off to second grade for me. I just finished my first year in second grade and I must say I love it. * I love to read - mostly mystery novels that help me escape. I like JD Robb, James Patterson, and others of that ilk. * I am really short but actually played basketball in high school, back in the day when women's ball had six players and I was a guard who never got to cross the midline. I like to swim too. We have a pool and although it is small I really love the sensation of being in the water. I spend hours in the pool swimming, floating and reading, or just standing around talking. I am an Aquarius and we are water people if you believe in that stuff. * My son goes to Buffalo State College and is studying education. My daughter is a grad student at Penn State working on her PhD. in political science. My husband is an RN. * I like country music but more country rock than really twangy stuff. | |||||||
